Short Term Missions
Designed with two primary purposes in mind:
- To maximize the impact of current ministry going on in a given location.
- To provide the short-term missionary with an opportunity to experience what God is doing in and through ITMT in Toronto, Canada.
Our short term missionary that will come to Canada must qualify for Canadian Immigration’s criteria to apply for TRV or temporary resident visa. ITMT will give you an invitation letter after careful review of your qualification as missionary and checking all backgrounds and endorsement letter from your affiliation in your country of origin.
We provide opportunities for missionaries to take steps toward a lifetime of being on mission with God, whether in Canada over other locations around the world..
Long-Term Missions
Our long-term assignments last 2 to 3 years and build relationships that can make significant Kingdom impact. We believe the most effective ministries are those that build into communities over time which requires having people on the ground for the long haul.
Same criteria as above, you as the principal missionary applicant will be able to bring your family along (as per Canadian immigration approval) with you and stay in Canada with the duration of your term as missionary.
To apply for this program, you must first apply for short term program and if so desire and if you believe that The Lord is leading you to a full time or long term mission, plant a church or help another church to grow and evangelize, ITMT can help you materialize it for you.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20
