Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. (1 Cor. 15:58)
Van Nguyen was born in British Hong Kong. She immigrated to Canada with her Vietnamese mother where she made the beautiful province of Ontario her home since October 28th, 1985. She completed her Bachelor Degree of Nursing from the University of New Brunswick/Humber College in 2006.
Van started off her career as a registered nurse on the General Internal Medicine unit at Toronto Western Hospital while being a single mother. She gradually moved onto many other nursing positions over the past 15 years. She is a strong advocate for her patients & families as a community care coordinator for homecare services. She has been a nurse for about 15 years and loves her nursing profession.
Van is very passionate about advocating for the people of Ontario and hope to make positive changes in the community with ITMT. Her passion is for the seniors within the community – she hopes to implement programs that will promote physical, mental and emotional health and well-being where the goal is to help our seniors stay in their homes for as long as possible.
